As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing responsible, community‑minded leaders, the IISO Students’ Council successfully organized a schoolwide cleaning activity today.
This initiative reflects our values of stewardship, teamwork, and care for the environment—core elements of holistic education at the International Islamia School Otsuka.
The student team worked diligently to clean the local park, the Masjid, and the surrounding areas of both the old and new IISO school buildings. Their enthusiasm, cooperation, and sense of responsibility were evident throughout the activity, demonstrating the strong character and leadership we aim to cultivate at IISO.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the Japanese teachers who joined and supported the students. Their guidance and encouragement played an important role in making this activity meaningful and successful.
This community effort not only beautified our neighborhood but also strengthened students’ awareness of environmental care—an essential skill for global citizenship and Islamic values of cleanliness and service.
Photos from today’s activity are included below, capturing the students’ hard work and positive spirit.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this initiative.
