About Our School
International Islamia School Otsuka (IISO) was established by Japan Islamic Trust in 2004. IISO is a value-based educational institution that aims to provide quality education to the children of the Muslim community living in Japan.
At IISO, we strive to create an environment of active learning with a focus on the development of emotional and social skills. Our experienced teachers provide a comprehensive education to our students by emphasizing skills-based learning and knowledge-based learning. We believe in nurturing our students’ natural curiosity and creativity to foster a lifelong passion for learning.

I am honored to be your principal and I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you. Our school has three objectives that we strive to achieve every day: By preserving the Islamic identity, our students will have a strong foundation to build on as they grow and learn. By developing their emotional skills, our students will be able to manage their emotions effectively and build positive relationships with others. And by developing their high order of thinking skills, our students will be able to think critically and solve problems creatively. We believe that these objectives will help our students become well-rounded individuals who are ready to face the challenges of the future. We are committed to providing our students with a world-class education that will prepare them for success in this life and in the hereafter inshallah. Our teachers are highly qualified and dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping our students achieve their full potential.
