IISO and IGS Academy Cultural Exchange Day
A Joyful Afternoon of Games, Friendship, and Global Learning in Tokyo

Last Tuesday, our students at International Islamia School Otsuka enjoyed a wonderful cultural exchange activity with their friends from IGS Academy. IISO cultural exchange day was a lively, heartwarming afternoon filled with smiles, teamwork, and meaningful interaction.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Takayuki Fujimura‑sensei and all the teachers at IGS Academy for arranging this special opportunity. Their thoughtful preparation and warm support made the experience truly memorable for our students.
Learning Games From Different Cultures
One of the highlights of the day was the chance for IISO students to learn and play games from different cultures. Through these activities, our children discovered new ways of thinking, cooperating, and having fun. The shared laughter and excitement helped break barriers and allowed students to connect naturally.
These moments of play became powerful learning experiences—helping students build confidence, communication skills, and cultural awareness in a joyful, relaxed environment.
Friendship Beyond Borders
Tokyo is home to children from many countries and backgrounds, and this exchange beautifully reflected that diversity. Students from both schools interacted openly, made new friends, and showed kindness and curiosity toward one another.
Seeing IISO and IGS Academy students communicate, collaborate, and enjoy each other’s company was a wonderful reminder of how easily children can build bridges when given the chance.
Looking Forward to More Exchanges
We are truly grateful for this meaningful collaboration and look forward to welcoming our wonderful IGS friends again. Opportunities like this enrich our students’ learning and help them grow into confident, respectful, and globally minded young people.
Thank you once again to Fujimura‑sensei and the entire IGS Academy team for making this exchange possible. We are excited to continue building this positive partnership.
