Introduction:

Yamanashi Tarbiyah Camp 2023 was an enriching and memorable experience that brought together families and individuals in a beautiful natural setting. From September 16th to September 18th, approximately 250 participants gathered to immerse themselves in a weekend filled with Islamic knowledge, recreational activities, and meaningful connections.

Islamic Enrichment:

One of the highlights of the camp was the opportunity to learn from esteemed scholars hailing from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Japan. Engaging Islamic lectures provided valuable insights and spiritual nourishment, enriching the hearts and minds of attendees.



Workshops on Contemporary Issues:

In line with the camp's commitment to holistic development, workshops addressed pertinent issues affecting modern society. Separate workshops for men and women explored the challenges of smartphone addiction and the impact of pornography. These sessions aimed to raise awareness and promote healthier, more responsible technology use.



Sports and Recreation:

Sport and recreation played a significant role in promoting physical health and team spirit. The camp featured sports day festivals tailored for Kindergarten, Primary schoolchildren, and separate events for both women and men. Activities included boating, hiking, soccer matches, campfires, and BBQ gatherings, fostering camaraderie and unforgettable memories.


Treasure Hunts and Islamic Studies:

Youth participants had the opportunity to sharpen their teamwork and problem-solving skills through thrilling treasure hunts. Meanwhile, the younger campers engaged in age-appropriate Islamic studies and Quranic lessons, nurturing their love for learning and spirituality.


Camp outcomes :

During these 3 days, we have conducted the following programs:

Jamaa Prayers and night optional prayers

6 Educational programs for men and 6 educational programs for women.

6 educational activities for preschool aged children.

6 educational activities for primary aged children.

2 educational programs for youth and 4 fun activities.

Sport festivals for men and sport festivals for women.

Many other entertainment activities for families such as boating, BBQ and hiking.

We have the honor to host 5 scholars for men programs, 2 from Japan and 3 from abroad (Saudi Arabia and Egypt). And 3 female teachers for women & Youth programs, Ms. Mona from Indonesia, Ms. Almas and Dr. Amira from Japan.


Conclusion:

Yamanashi Tarbiyah Camp 2023 was a resounding success, encapsulating the essence of Islamic learning, physical well-being, and community bonding. It provided an ideal platform for participants to grow spiritually, intellectually, and physically while fostering new friendships and cherished memories.
