The Islamic studies are  Compulsory for the children of all ages. The curriculum is designed by ICO, that is one of the leading and specialized organization in providing Arabic and Islamic curricula and other related books.

English as First Language

The primary language is English and all the subjects such as Islamic Studies, Science, Mathematics, Geography, Computer studies will be taught in the English languageating your Heart as a Japanese.

Japanese as Second language

Japanese is compulsory for all the students and will be taught as a subject. The Japanese taught will be extensive and of a high level by a Native speaker.

Arabic Language

Arabic is being taught from Grade 2 onwards. We at IISO believe that in order to understand the message of Allah S.W.T we need to also introduce Arabic to our children.

Quran Hifz & Memorization

It is mandatory to memorize Quran for all students according to their pace. We follow a curriculum designed for Primary students consisting of 5 Juzz but not limited to it. Students may continue to memorize more when they achieve the set curriculum target.ese.

Saturday-class Initiative

We at IISO understand the cultural diversity that our students come from. As English is the first language at school, we will ensure that our students have a high command of it. Therefore a Saturday class initiative is taken for those students who are recommended by the Home-class teacher. The student must attend it in order to become more fluent and comfortable in class.

The mathematics curriculum framework explores five content areas: number, geometry, measure, handling data and problem-solving. This curriculum focuses on principles, patterns, systems, functions, and relationships so that learners can apply their mathematical knowledge and develop a holistic understanding of the subject.


This curriculum framework covers four content areas: scientific inquiry, biology, chemistry, and physics. Scientific inquiry is about considering ideas, evaluating evidence, planning, investigating, recording and analyzing data.

Computer Studies

ICT by Cambridge is a new edition based on practical solutions to teaching youngsters to use technology responsibly.

The international curriculum set by Cambridge will be followed for the Grade of Primary school. Cambridge is known internationally for providing globalized education of quality.

Admissions Procedure
  1. The completed admission form along with the copies of birth certificates, 3 passport size photographs must be submitted to the school office.
  2. After the admission form has been processed, a date is given for the applicant’s assessment.
  3. Parents are informed of the outcome within one week of the written test date. If a place is offered, the child’s admission/enrolment must be confirmed and all dues paid within 3 days of the date of the offer.
  4. If within three days, enrolment is not confirmed, the child’s place is offered to another candidate.

As we realize the need for Islamic education in Japan it is also vital to prepare our students for an International community so they may strive and thrive in this world and there after.

The Fees Notice should be read in conjunction with the School’s Fees Policy.

Tuition Fees are charged on a monthly basis. There are 12 months per school year. Semester or yearly payment is also acceptable.

Please note payment of all school fees is required prior to the commencement of each month.

Withdrawal of Student

One term’s notice must be given to the Admissions Registrar in writing, prior to the removal of a student from the school or transfer to another school, otherwise, one term’s fee will be charged.

Not Included

School fees do not include personal expenditure such as medical, travel, project material costs, and functions.

Sibling Discount

The School Council has approved a discount of 15% on tuition fees for the Second and subsequent student from one family attending the School simultaneously. Additionally, should you have three or more children enrolled at International Islamia School Otsuka, please contact the Fees Coordinator in relation to sibling discount.
